One effective approach to familiarize oneself with this region of Peru while maximizing time efficiency is to devote an entire day to immersing in its culture and living history, followed by a second day dedicated to visiting Peru's most renowned landmark, Machu Picchu.

Experience guided tours in Pisac and Ollantaytambo, each enveloped by terraces and providing stunning vistas of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. 08:00 AM: Departure from Cusco to the Sacred Valley.
09:30 AM: Tour of the Pisac archaeological site and artisan market.

Following a rejuvenating break, we will embark by bus to explore the renowned Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Upon clearing security, your guide will lead you to sacred sites, including the Tower of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Guardian's House, and other hidden aspects of the Andean worldview that informed the construction of this magnificent city.
07:00 AM: Designated meeting location for the group.
07:30 AM: We board a bus to ascend to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
08:00 AM: Arrival at the Machu Picchu citadel – reception.
08:20 AM: Arrival and guided exploration of Machu Picchu.
11:00 AM: Conclusion of the guided tour / leisure time and bus to Aguas Calientes.
In Aguas Calientes, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch, visit the hot springs, or partake in other activities. It is essential to arrive at the train station 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
03:00 PM: Depart by train for Ollantaytambo.
05:00 PM: Arrival in Ollantaytambo and transfer by bus to Cusco.
07:45 PM: Arrival in Cusco and conclusion of the tour at the main square, Plaza Regocijo.

OBSERVATIONS:
Operation and confirmation of the service are contingent upon the availability of spaces in Machu Picchu.
On the first day following the guided tour in Ollantaytambo, you will need to wait for the train and board independently. Our team will monitor your arrival and will reach out to you upon your arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes.
Regular schedules are established for groups of up to 18 individuals embarking on a tour of the Sacred Valley, accompanied by a guide and transportation.
Group guided tours of Machu Picchu are available with a maximum of 10 participants per guide, conducted in either Spanish or English. The final entry is at 11:00 AM.
Regular rates necessitate a minimum of two individuals, who will be allocated a double or matrimonial room. Please inquire about supplementary charges for single occupancy.
Program costs fluctuate based on the category of accommodation, as outlined in the rate table.
The standard fare encompasses round trips on either classic or executive trains.
The Plus fare encompasses one segment of the panoramic train featuring 360° views. To include an additional segment, an extra $35 per person is required.
For private guides, the pricing is determined by the size of the group and the language selected.
Children incur supplementary fees determined by their age range; some are compulsory while others are discretionary. Please consult regarding these additional fees by providing your travel dates and the child's precise age.
CANCELLATIONS AND/OR REIMBURSEMENTS:
In accordance with Peruvian government policies regarding Machu Picchu, the ticket is non-transferable and does not permit refunds or date modifications. In the event of cancellation, PLT will consider the penalties associated with other elements of the package; however, the Machu Picchu ticket remains non-refundable.
For private guides, the pricing is determined by the size of the group and the language selected.
NOTE:
To secure the panoramic or 360° train, an additional fee of $35 USD per leg, per person is necessary.
Reservations should be made a minimum of 3 months in advance to ensure the selection of optimal trains and/or to manage costs.
To finalize the booking, at least 50% payment and a copy of personal documents are required.
