A cultural and adventure tour
An adventure at the base of Salkantay Mountain in Cusco. A remarkable day merging adrenaline with vibrant hues on the second most renowned trail to Machu Picchu. The Salkantay Trail typically spans 5 days to reach Machu Picchu, and you will embark on a day hike from the initial segment.
Our day commences at 4:30 am as we travel to the town of Mollepata for breakfast, after which we retrace our route until we arrive at Soraypampa, the starting point for the mini-trek to Humantay Lagoon. The initial segment of the hike will require 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the turquoise lagoon, renowned for its captivating beauty and striking contrast with the surrounding snow. Here, you will have an hour to rest and unwind while capturing photographs. Subsequently, we returned to the vehicle and, following an hour's drive, arrived for lunch. In the afternoon, we made our way back to Cusco, reaching the main square, Plaza San Francisco, at approximately 6 pm.
