A cultural excursion
Embark on a distinctive journey that merges the thrill of the Huacachina dunes with the natural splendor of the Ballestas Islands.

We will depart from Lima between 4:30 and 5:00 AM, traveling south to the city of Pisco, where we will explore the Ballestas Islands.
At the port of Chaco, we will board a boat to commence our journey to the Ballestas Islands, where we will appreciate the geoglyph known as the Candelabro, the unique rock formations of the islands, sea lions, and a diverse array of avian species, including Humboldt penguins, boobies, Inca terns, pelicans, guanay cormorants, turkey vultures, and many others.
Subsequently, we will journey for an additional hour to Ica, where we will explore a winery and sample various wines, including Peru's renowned spirit, Pisco.
We will enjoy lunch amidst stunning vistas, featuring the Huacachina Lagoon encircled by towering dunes. Additionally, we will visit the Huacachina Mermaid Monument and the local artisan center.
In the afternoon, we will engage in the adventure sport of sandboarding and traverse the Ica desert in buggies, navigating its remarkable dunes, culminating the experience with a breathtaking sunset.
We will commence our return to Lima at approximately 6:00 PM, with an expected arrival at your respective hotels around 11:00 PM.

Prices are based on shared departures with Spanish and/or English speaking guides. Other languages are available at an additional cost or as a private service only.
Regular service is guaranteed from 1 participant, with groups of up to 25 people per guide.
Children up to 6 years old do not pay if they do not occupy a seat. From 7 years old, the adult rate applies.
The activity at Paracas pier may be interrupted for safety reasons in case of high tide. If this happens, an alternative activity will be provided.
The service includes pickup and drop-off only in Miraflores and San Isidro. Hotels outside these areas require an additional fuel surcharge.
10% of the amount contributes to conservation and reforestation projects in the Amazon.
