Full Day | A journey across Bolivia's most surreal landscape
A full-day excursion through two of the most iconic islands of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. This experience combines boat navigation, Andean mythology, pre-Hispanic archaeology, panoramic landscapes and living local traditions while visiting Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna from Copacabana.
07:00: Pickup from your hotel in La Paz or Copacabana, depending on the selected starting point.
07:30: Bus transfer toward Copacabana, followed by boat embarkation on Lake Titicaca.
09:30: Arrival at the port area and navigation to Isla del Sol.
ISLA DEL SOL
10:00: Arrival at Isla del Sol, considered the birthplace of the sun in Andean mythology.
10:30 - 12:30: Guided visit to local historical and archaeological sites, including the Temple of the Sun or Chincana, with panoramic views of Lake Titicaca and time to learn about island traditions.
12:30: Typical lunch on the island.
ISLA DE LA LUNA
13:30: Boat departure toward Isla de la Luna, located south of Isla del Sol and known for its connection to Inca mythology.
14:00 - 15:00: Guided walk on Isla de la Luna with visit to the Temple of the Virgins of the Sun and panoramic views of the lake.
RETURN TO COPACABANA
16:00: Boat return to Copacabana.
17:00: Arrival in Copacabana and overland transfer back to La Paz or to your hotel in Copacabana.
19:30: Estimated arrival in La Paz.
