Colca Canyon – Chivay Classic 2 Days / 1 Night

Day 1: Arequipa – Chivay

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:20 am. approx. We will pass through the slopes of the Chachani and Yura Volcanoes, we will enter the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve Zone, where we will be able to appreciate the Vicuñas, famous for their fine fiber, we will continue our tour in the Toccra Bofedales we will see wild birds, llamas and alpacas, following our route will reach the highest point of the excursion, pata pampa, 4,800 meters above sea level. Upon our arrival at the town of Chivay we will have lunch and accommodation at the Hotel. At night we can enjoy a bath in the Thermal Baths of La Calera then we can have dinner.

Day 2: Chivay – Pinchollo – Arequipa

Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to continue with the tour and we go to the town of Pinchollo where the Mirador de la Cruz del Cóndor is located, from here you can see the deepest part of the canyon and the famous flight of the condors . Afterwards, we return to Chivay, making stops in the different traditional towns along the way to visit the churches that are from the colonial period and their squares. In addition, on the way, stops will be made at viewpoints from which you can see beautiful landscapes, also hanging tombs, terraces, etc. We arrived at Chivay. We will have time for lunch and we will board the bus back to Arequipa.
